When you set up your Smart Hub or camera, if you fail to find them by using Bluetooth, then you are required to use your safemo App to scan a QR code that is printed on the device. This article guides you to quickly locate the QR code on different devices.
What is a QR Code?
Each Safemo device is uniquely identified by a QR code and a 15-digit serial number (S/N). Smart Hub with serial numbers starting with 'HUB' and cameras with serial numbers beginning with 'AIC'. The QR code is meant to provide a secure and efficient way to quickly set up a device.
Where is the QR Code Located?

Camera | On the bottom right corner of the device |
Whether it's a Smart Hub or a camera, please find the QR code located at the bottom of the device body.
Additionally, if the environment is not bright enough, please select the flashlight icon on the app and the app will turn on the flashlight on your smartphone to provide better lighting to scan the QR code.
